ANDRES

A Harrison, NY native with Colombian roots, Andres found his way into art early — his mother made a habit of taking him into New York City to walk through its museums, but it was the graffiti covering the city's walls that spoke to him loudest. He went on to earn a BFA in Graphic Design from Manhattanville College, though the path from degree to career didn't unfold the way he expected.

That changed in 2020. The pandemic forced some honest self-reflection, and Andres realized he wasn't ready to let his creative ambitions go without one real attempt. On his nightly walks through the neighborhood, he kept passing Killer Silver Tattoo Studio — until a hiring sign in the window stopped him.

It clicked immediately. Tattooing brought together everything he'd always loved: the technical discipline of design, the raw energy of graffiti, and the permanence of wearing your story on your skin. He trained under Caesar starting in 2023, building his technical foundation from the ground up before stepping into his current role.

Today, Andres tattoos as a full Junior Artist at Killer Silver — not an apprentice, a working artist on the roster. He hasn't settled into a signature style yet, and he's not rushing it — the fundamentals come first. What he has built is enough range to confidently take on lettering, outline work, fine-line pieces, black work, and geometric designs.

He's balancing this with a full-time job and a family of his own, so tattooing runs part of a bigger schedule for now — but every session he books works the same way any other artist's does. He's also the artist behind Killer Silver's flash deals, an easy way to book a first session. Every piece he tattoos uses Killer Silver Ink, zero-carcinogen and REACH-certified since 2013.

He's building a career one client, one design, and one honest hour of practice at a time.
