Consultations are free and usually run 15–20 minutes, with a 30 minute maximum. Their only job is figuring out how many hours, or how long a session, your tattoo will need.

The deposit depends on session length: $50 for a 1-hour session, $100 for a 2 or 3-hour session, and $200 for a 4 or 5-hour session. The deposit is applied toward the final tattoo cost.

A minimum of 72 hours notice is required to reschedule. Rescheduling inside that window forfeits the deposit.

No. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance once the appointment is confirmed.

Yes. All clients must be 18 years or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. There are no exceptions, regardless of parental consent.

Some Flash Deals — Flash Willy-Nilly and Anything for $100 — can be done as walk-ins, subject to availability, and you may need to wait if the studio is busy. To skip the wait, book your spot online ahead of time and your time will be assigned. Custom tattoos, Killer Wednesdays, the Thursday Flash Deal, and Twin-Ink Tuesday all require an appointment.

Availability is shown directly on the online booking page for whichever service you choose — pick whatever fits your schedule.

Get a full night's sleep, eat a real meal beforehand, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol and blood thinners for 24 hours prior — all of it helps the session go smoother and supports better healing.

Some discomfort is normal — it varies by placement, size, and individual pain tolerance. Areas with more bone or thin skin, like ribs, hands, and feet, tend to be more sensitive than fleshier areas.

Five standing flash deals: Killer Wednesdays ($80, Wednesdays only), Flash Willy-Nilly ($100, book ahead or walk in), the Thursday Flash Deal (four 1.5"x1.5" designs for $300, Thursdays only), Anything for $100 (any day), and Twin-Ink Tuesday ($80 per person for matching designs, Tuesdays only).

All Flash Deals require a 50% non-refundable deposit, applied toward the total. The balance is due at the session.

Flash Willy-Nilly is a $100 surprise design drawn from a gumball machine. If you don't like what you draw, you can re-draw for $10, up to 3 times. It can be booked ahead or done as a walk-in.

For Killer Wednesdays, the Thursday Flash Deal, and Anything for $100, you can choose from available designs or bring your own — it will be sized to fit 1.5"x1.5". Flash Willy-Nilly is a surprise draw only.

A flash tattoo is a pre-drawn outline design, chosen from available artwork rather than custom-created for you — no shading or coloring included. Because there's no design time involved, flash sessions are quicker and priced lower than custom work.

Twin-Ink Tuesday is the $80-per-person rate for matching tattoos (two or more people), available Tuesdays only. Matching tattoos can be booked any day at the regular rate. On Tuesdays the $80 rate requires 24-hour advance online booking so we can serve everybody — walk-in matching pairs may need to wait for availability. Each design must be finalized before you arrive, and placement excludes hands and feet.

Yes, larger matching groups are welcome. Just note your group size in the message field when booking, since each person's tattoo is done one at a time.

The deposit is paid online at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at the end of the session.

Card and cash only. Zelle and Venmo are not accepted.

No. Pricing depends on the final size and detail of the tattoo, so quotes are only given in person at the studio.

A tip-based practice session with the studio's apprentice. There's no set price — clients get tattooed at low cost while the apprentice builds hands-on experience, and pay what they choose as a tip.

No. Killer Silver Tattoo is a tattoo studio only — piercing services aren't offered.

Yes. Touch-ups are free within 30 days of the initial appointment. Outside that window, the free policy no longer applies and a charge is required.

Yes. Cover-ups take more time and care than a new design on fresh skin, so be prepared for a longer, more involved session — or sessions, depending on the size and complexity of the new design — to get a successful result.

Yes. Flash pieces are pre-drawn, ready-to-tattoo designs shown in the gallery under the Flash tab, and are also featured on the Flash Deals page with fixed pricing.

Yes. The gallery shows past work to help you find a style and artist you like, but every custom tattoo is designed for you individually, starting at your deposit-paid appointment.

Every gallery piece is tagged with its artist — Caesar, Andres, or Philipus — so you can filter the gallery to see one artist's work specifically.

Try to keep the first cover on for 5 to 7 days. Your artist applies it right after your session, and it stays on through the entire early healing period.

Yes. You can shower normally with it on. Just don't soak it — no baths, pools, or submerging it underwater.

Yes, completely normal. The cover seals the tattoo, so fluid released during healing has nowhere to go and collects on top, making the tattoo look blurry or smudgy for a few days. The body reabsorbs it as healing continues.

Wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap, pat it fully dry, and apply nothing else — no ointment of any kind, since it stops the new cover from sticking. Then apply the fresh sheet.

Fall back to the traditional Aquaphor healing method: clean the tattoo with antibacterial soap, pat dry, and apply a thin layer of Aquaphor a few times a day until it's fully healed.

No, and this holds no matter which healing method you're using. Don't soak or submerge a healing tattoo, and avoid sunburn from natural sun or tanning beds until it's fully healed.

Yes. Killer Silver's Se7en Deadly Shades gray-wash system, both the black shades and the white ink, was independently lab-tested by CTL, an accredited German laboratory, and certified in 2013 against the hazard categories the EU's REACH regulation would later make legally binding in 2022 — aromatic amines, restricted dyestuffs, heavy metals, and carcinogens. All results came back non-detect.

MoCRA is the first U.S. federal framework for tattoo ink, signed into law in December 2022. It requires facility registration and a self-declared ingredient list, but not independent lab testing. REACH-standard testing uses an independent lab to test the actual product. Killer Silver has held independent REACH-standard certification since 2013, nine years before MoCRA existed.

Caesar first submitted the Se7en Deadly Shades formula to CTL Laboratory in Germany in 2012. The first submission failed; after reformulating, the resubmitted formula passed in 2013 and has been independently certified ever since.

Independent lab testing found Killer Silver 7, both black and white, non-detect for aromatic amines, restricted dyestuffs, heavy metals, and carcinogenic compounds, per CTL Certificate Nos. 360083/2 and 360083/1.

Killer Silver Ltd. is a small-batch manufacturer based in Westchester County, NY, founded and still run by Caesar, the founder and master artist at Killer Silver Tattoo Studio.

Killer Silver Tattoo is open Tuesday through Saturday, 1PM to 9PM, at 34 Garth Rd in Scarsdale, NY.

Metered street parking in front of the studio is enforced Monday through Saturday until 6PM, including Saturdays, and it's free on Sundays and after 6PM any day. The parking garage behind the studio is free all weekend and on U.S. holidays.

The Metro-North Harlem Line stops in Scarsdale, just steps from the studio. It's the 13th stop from Grand Central, about 40 to 45 minutes.
